BMW Motorrad on Thursday launched the all-new BMW S 1000 RR superbike priced at Rs 18.50 lakh to Rs 22.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

It will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and is available for booking at the company's dealerships across the country.

With the new M package, the all-new RR has been turned into even more of a racer and has M features such as carbon fibre wheels, M lightweight battery and M Sport seat underpin. It also has an electronic dynamic damping control system, heated grips and cruise control functions.

"No other bike can be a more authentic interpretation of the sports world than the BMW S 1000 RR. In 2009, we made a big entry into the market of high-performance sports bikes with the launch of the BMW S 1000 RR. For the all-new 2019 'Double R' our goal was simple, 'Make it even better', and we did just that. Moving into its third generation, the BMW S 1000 RR has been enhanced in all disciplines. It is now lighter, faster, more uncompromising and easily controllable than ever before," said Dimitris Raptis, Head of Asia Pacific, Russia, Africa, BMW Motorrad, at the launch.

The all-new BMW S 1000 RR is the first motorcycle to feature as an M package, which combines the power of M with Motorrad.
