Alstom T & D India Ltd has secured a contract valued Rs 96 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd for erection and commissioning of a 400 kV gas-insulated substation (GIS) in Hinjewadi, Maharashtra that was developing into an IT hub.
Alstom T&D said that it accounted for the highest number of GIS bays installed in the country, having supplied more than 110 GIS bays since 2009.
