Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd has reported a 14 per cent increase in net profit for the third quarter of the current year. On a standalone basis the hospital chain reported a net profit of ₹95.01 crore (₹83.44 crore) on a total income of ₹1,182.53 crore (₹993.34 crore) for the quarter ended December 31, 2014. According to a press release from the company, its main business clusters in Chennai and Hyderabad have shown a healthy growth. The joint venture and subsidiary hospitals in Ahmedabad and Bengaluru have shown a revenue growth. During the quarter there was a net addition of 67 stores to the Apollo Pharmacies chain taking the total to 1,784.
