Chennai-based Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd has registered a net profit of ₹109.23 crore up 15 per cent for the quarter ended December 31, 2015. It reported total income of ₹1380.52 crore (₹1182.53 crore). Consolidated revenues grew by 15.8 per cent last quarter at ₹1554.8 crore (₹1342.4 crore).
Standalone net profit for healthcare services dropped 10 per cent at ₹113.03 crore (₹125.65 crore). Krishnan Akileswaran, CFO, said Chennai floods had a significant impact on profit. The floods impacted revenues by ₹20 crore in the Chennai division for the quarter.
