Apollo Hospitals is the first hospital in the country to have reached the 1 million fans mark. This was achieved through a year long initiative including four major engagements like ‘Health Quiz’, ‘Healthiest City’, ‘Women's Day’ and ‘Blood Connections’.
Being actively present across social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIN, SlideShare and blogs, Apollo Hostpitals has managed to secure a better connect with its patients, who can drop in queries and expect prompt responses.
Apollo Hospitals' Managing Director Preetha Reddy said, “Through Facebook, we have managed to reach out to people, and create awareness on staying healthy, in a much easier and efficient manner. Our social media programme takes us closer to fulfilling our vision of Touching a Billion Lives.''
