Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd has announced their entry into Kerala by signing an operations and management contract with the Adlux Group as infrastructure partners for a 250-bed super speciality hospital in Angamaly.

Apollo Hospitals will be responsible for the operation and management of the hospital. The announcement was made by Prathap C Reddy, Executive Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group, in the presence of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at an event in Thiruvananthapuram.

Located close to Kochi International Airport, the Apollo Adlux Hospital, scheduled to begin operations in four to six months, will provide world-class healthcare services to people of all socio-economic strata, a press release said.

Apollo Hospitals also announced its support to the State government’s efforts to rebuild the primary healthcare centres (PHCs) damaged in recent floods.

The Apollo Adlux Hospital will have 50 beds exclusively for critical care. The hospital will begin services as a tertiary care hospital with an advanced oncology section planned for the next phase. The hospital will provide round-the-clock super speciality treatment with specialist doctors, the release added.
