Apollo Tyres’ outsourced facility in Kalamassery has resumed production on Friday after a gap of four days.
The plant has received all necessary clearances from the Department of Factories and Boilers, a statement issued here by the company said.
With the mixed compound being sourced from outside, the production of truck-bus cross ply and off-highway tyres has begun at this facility; and, in the next two to three days, the plant is expected to reach its average production levels, the statement said.
The production at the unit was suspended following a fire that broke out at its Banbury unit on last Sunday night.
