Semiconductor solutions provider, Applied Materials has announced the appointment of Mr Gary Dickerson as President of the company. In a release, the company said that Mr. Dickerson brings more than 30 years of semiconductor industry experience to the company.
Mr. Dickerson was earlier the Chief Executive Officer of Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, which Applied Materials acquired in 2011. Mr. Dickerson will report directly to Mr. Mike Splinter, Chairman And Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the company’s four business units.
