Ashok Leyland vehicle sales rise 11% in May

Ashok Leyland has posted a 11 per cent rise in commercial vehicle sales in May this year at 6,343 units, from 5725 units in April last year. This excludes sale of Dost, the light commercial vehicle from the Leyland-Nissan joint venture. The company sold 2,305 units of Dost in May. Total sales for the month was 8,648 units
