Leading three-wheeler maker Atul Auto Ltd, has reported a 66% growth in net profit and 22% in income in the financial year ended March 31, 2013, as compared to the corresponding period last fiscal.
In 2012-13, the company posted a stand-alone net profit of Rs.25.92 crore (Rs.15.60 crore) and a net income from operations at Rs.362.86 crore (Rs 297.97 crore). During the year, the company sold 32,040 vehicles, compared to 27,000 units in the previous year, reflecting a growth of 18.67% percent.
In the fourth quarter ended March 31, its net profit grew by 81.73% to Rs 7.56 crore (Rs 4.16 crore). Sales rose 17.24% to Rs 96.91 crore (Rs 82.66 crore), according to a company statement.
The company has declared a final dividend of 60 percent or Rs.6.00 per equity share of Rs.10 each for 2012-13.
