Bajaj Auto has reported a 10 per cent decline in total vehicle sales in May at 3,13,756 units.
The two-wheeler major had sold 3,47,655 units in the same month last year.
Its motorcycle sales also declined 10 per cent to 2,77,115 units from 3,07,344 units sold in May last year, Bajaj Auto said in a BSE filing today.
The company said its exports fell 3 per cent to 1,39,709 units during the month from 1,43,421 units in the corresponding year-ago period.
In the commercial vehicles category, sales decreased 9 per cent to 36,641 units (40,311 units).
The company shares were trading down by 0.71 per cent at Rs 2,820.65.
