FMCG firm Bajaj Corp has reported a 22.05 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 38.31 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014.
It had reported a net profit of Rs 49.15 crore in the January-March quarter of 2012-13 fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
Baja Corp’s net sales stood at Rs 184.17 crore against Rs 183.69 crore. Overall expenses were at Rs 132.7 crore against Rs 133.18 crore.
The company had acquired Ozone Ayurvedics’ Nomarks brands in August last year.
Bajaj Corp has several products in the hair care segment such as Bajaj Almond Drops, Bajaj Kailash Parbat and Bajaj Brahmi Amla.
The company’s scrip was trading at Rs 222.30, down 2.90 per cent, on the BSE.
