Balaji Amines Ltd recorded net profit of Rs 10.77 crore (Rs 8.72 crore) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, an increase of 23.5 per cent over comparative quarter of previous fiscal.
The company's sales turnover stood at Rs 112.60 crore (Rs 96.68 crore), a growth of 16 per cent. Exports during the period were Rs 76.01 crore (Rs 61.09 crore), according to the unaudited financial results.
Balaji Amines manufactures specialty chemicals, aliphatic amines and its derivatives. It caters to the agrochemicals, rubber chemicals, water treatment chemicals, refineries and other industry segments.
The company operates three manufacturing complexes, two in Solapur, Maharashtra and one at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
