Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT) today reported 54.88 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 12.56 crore for the quarter ended March 31.
The company, which makes writing and printing paper, had posted net profit of Rs 27.84 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
For its third quarter ended March 31, the company’s revenues stood at Rs 1,244.87 crore, as against Rs 1,248.95 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, BILT said in a statement.
BILT follows a July-June fiscal year.
The company scrip closed at Rs 17.30 on the BSE, down 0.29 per cent from its previous close.
