Balmer Lawrie, a diversified public sector enterprise, has reported 33 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter-ended June at ₹33 crore against ₹25 crore in the same period last year. Better performance by both the manufacturing and services businesses helped the company to post better number. Net income was up three per cent at ₹749.14 crore (₹725 crore).
