BEML Ltd has posted a Rs 85.35-crore profit for the fourth quarter of financial year 2012-13, against a loss of Rs 13.99 crore in the same period the previous fiscal (2011-12).
The company’s revenues for Q4 grew 41.43 per cent to Rs 1,122.04 crore (Rs 793.35 crore). The EPS was at Rs 20.49 (Rs 3.36).
The Defence public sector undertaking has told the stock exchanges that it has been exempted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India from publishing segment-wise information.
However, for the full year (FY2012-13), the company registered a loss of Rs 83.29 crore, against a profit of Rs 56.91 crore the previous year (2011-12). However, revenues were up 3.17 per cent to Rs 2,801.25 crore (Rs 2,715.05 crore).
