Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL), a Hyderabad-based Defence public sector undertaking, has paid an interim dividend of Rs 48.90 crore to the Government of India. It works out to 42.52 per cent of the paid-up share capital of Rs 115 crore.
V Udaya Bhaskar, Chairman and Managing Director, BDL, presented the interim dividend cheque of Rs 48.90 crore for the financial year 2014-15 to Manohar Parrikar, Raksha Mantri.
BDL is the main production unit for the country’s missiles. It has a huge order to produce Akash missiles, for which it is in the process of creating additional production facilities.
