The Bhopal unit of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) reported net profit of Rs 686 crore during FY12-13 against Rs 811 crore in the previous year.
The turnover of the company was down marginally from Rs 4,789 crore in 2011-12 to Rs 4,740 crore, Executive Director of the Bhopal BHEL, Shashi Ranjan Prasad said today.
He said that the unit performance in other parameters like value addition achieved had improved marginally.
