Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd’s (BHEL) power sector, Eastern Region, posted a six per cent rise in turnover to Rs 2,930 crore during 2012-13.
The profit before tax grew by 92 per cent to Rs 260 crore, said a company statement.
BHEL power sector (eastern region) synchronised 1,932 MW of power capacity and added an additional capacity of 1,903 MW to the eastern grid in 2012-13.
