The Calcutta High Court on Thursday dismissed two petitions that sought to stall Birla Corporation Ltd’s proposed take over of cement business of Anil Ambani Group’s Reliance Cement Co Pvt Ltd. Justice Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya dismissed the petitions saying that they were not maintainable.
