BMW Group India on Wednesday launched the all-new ActiveHybrid 7 priced at Rs 1.35 crore (ex-showroom).
The new luxury car integrates highly efficient combustion engine and energy-saving electric motor to increase the efficiency while delivering the driving dynamics, the company said.
Imported as a completely built unit (CBU), it will be available at dealerships across Delhi-National Capital Region, Mumbai and Chennai.
"Hybrid vehicles are milestones in a time of change towards low-emission driving. The BMW AtiveHybrid 7 introduces a fundamentally new driving experience in the luxury segment that India has never seen before," Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India, said.
The electric motor and petrol engine of the vehicle work in union supported by a lithium-ion high-performance battery and coordinated by an intelligent hybrid system, he said.
