BNP Paribas India today appointed Jwalant Nanavati as co-head of its corporate finance business.
Nanavati will be based in Mumbai and report to Ganeshan Murugaiyan, Head - Investment banking and strategic coverage, BNP Paribas India, the company said in a statement here.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Nanavati was the investment banking director at Deutsche Bank India.
“Jwalant’s appointment further demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our investment banking presence here,” Jacques Michel, Chief Executive Officer and Country Head, BNP Paribas India said.
Nanavati’s long experience, coupled with our global reach, will enable us to bring significant value to our clients as they look to acquire assets and raise growth capital from global markets, Michel added.
