Aircraft maker Boeing plans to hire 500 more engineers for its technology centre here before the year-end. Boeing’s Chief Technology Officer Greg Hyslop told newspersons that the engineers here will work in key technology areas and in areas as diverse as data analytics for next generation aeroplane health management tools, software tools for airlines and airports to improve operations and reduce costs. Boeing’s Chief Information Officer Ted Colbert said the new centre is instrumental in promoting the digital transformation of Boeing by utilising India’s talent seamlessly with the US teams.
