Japanese tyre and rubber manufacturer Bridgestone has announced the launch of its new exclusive tyre B-290 in the Indian Market today.
The product will be available in Hyderabad among other cities. Andhra Pradesh is one of the major markets for Bridgestone in India, the company said in a statement.
B-290 is developed using modern design with dynamic looks, wide appearance and attractive sidewall. The tyres are specially made for the Indian market and promise to provide a great driving experience for the Indian consumers.
Tomio Fukuzumi, Managing Director, Bridgestone India, in a statement said, “We are pleased to offer B-290 to the Indian Consumers as the product has great features that allow better tyre life and fuel efficiency. With B-290 we assure the customers an excellent driving experience”.
The product will be offered in 25 sizes across the nation. These tyres are developed to better suit the needs of the customers. The wide grooves help in providing better handling and braking in wet conditions. The bigger and stiffer blocks also enable good braking in dry conditions. Closed shoulders produce less noise thus improving the ride quality. Its’ deep tread and wear resistance compound account for better fuel efficiency and superior tyre life.
Bridgestone India has two plants in India at Kheda, Madhya Pradesh and Chakan near Pune, Maharashtra.
