Brigade Enterprises has posted 32.59 per cent higher profit at ₹29.74 crore for the first quarter of FY 2017-18 on unaudited consolidated basis against ₹22.43 crore recorded in the same period last year. Income from operations is also higher by 21.10 per cent to ₹564.72 crore against ₹466.30 crore in the same period last year. EPS stood at ₹2.46 compared with ₹1.78 last year. Commenting on the company’s performance, MR Jaishankar, Chairman and Managing Director, said: “Despite subdued market conditions, we have continued to perform well. The positive disruptions in the market - implementation of GST is a step in the right direction by the government.” The debt equity ratio on June, 30, 2017, stood at 0.66:1.
