Canon India is targeting regional centres such as Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode as well as tier-2 and tier-3 cities to drive maximum demand for its products in the State, according to Mr Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice-President.
The company aims to boost its retail presence, and has recently introduced the PowerShot A3300 IS ‘point and shoot' camera along with the ip2770 printer in Thiruvananthapuram.
Speaking at a promotional programme here, Mr Bharadwaj said, product innovation and deeper customer relationships have been the keys in driving Canon's growth in the country. Kerala is an important market and crucial to the company's business, he added.
