Digital imaging firm Canon India today tied up with Monotech Systems for its wide format printing business and expects Rs 30 crore business within the next two years.
Monotech Systems has been Canon’s partner for the past four years and was handling its ImagePrograf business, Canon India said in a statement.
With the new agreement, Monotech will become the national partner for Canon for the wide format products in the country and the only partner to sell and service the Dutch-based Oce range of products, which it had acquired in 2009.
“Wide format printing market is growing in India and Canon foresees this as a huge business opportunity. We decided to further extend our relationship with Monotech owing to their pan-India presence, strong technical support and sales team and the option of multi-location billing.
“We look forward to a more enriching business with Monotech as a partner who would bring business worth Rs 30 crore by 2015,” Canon India executive vice-president Alok Bharadwaj said.
