Bengaluru-based modular furnishings service provider Capricoast has raised $3.5 million in a Series A round led by existing investors Accel Partners India and Singapore-based VC firm RB Investments. The company in a release said that it will use the funds to broaden and accelerate product development, expand its sales, marketing and hiring efforts. Earlier this year, the company partnered with Sleek International (an Asian Paints subsidiary) and Spacewood – manufacturers of modular furniture to provide wide range of design and products at the best price in the industry. “Our online-to-offline (O2O) model addresses the problems customers face today such as in pricing, delayed delivery, limited choice and lack of transparency,” said its founder and CEO Jawad Ayaz.
