CarZ, a multi-brand car services network, has announced that it has secured $5 million series A funding from IndoUS Venture Partners (IUVP), to facilitate expansion of network and extend services to other parts of the country.
Mr Vijay Gummadi, Co-Founder and CEO of CarZ, in a statement said, “the business model fills the underserved gap between franchised dealers and untrained street side mechanics. CarZ offers a full range of car repair services including electrical and mechanical repair, accident repair, parts and accessories in a neighbourhood locations, served by trained mechanics and advanced diagnostic equipment.”
This funding is aimed at phased rollout of the car service network in other cities, he said.
