Cera Q4 net up 35%; to pay 180% dividend for 2015-16

City-based bathroom fittings player, Cera Sanitaryware Ltd, has declared 180 per cent dividend for the year 2015-16. The company has reported a net profit of Rs 29.81 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 against Rs 22.12 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, showing 35 per cent growth.

The company has reported net sales of Rs 280.59 crore for the March quarter compared with Rs 250.45 crore in the same period last year.

For the financial year 2015-16, the company's net sales jumped 14 per cent to Rs 933.69 crore from Rs 821.67 crore in the previous fiscal.

The growth in net profit was even better with a 23 per cent rise. The net profit was Rs 83.46 crores for the year under review against Rs 67.66 crores during 2014-15, the company informed here.

The earnings per share for the year stood at Rs 64.17 compared with Rs 53.36 last year.

Cera shares traded positive on Wednesday at Rs 1980 marginally up from previous day's closing on the National Stock Exchange.
