Cera Sanitaryware Ltd on Thursday reported a 44% increase in net profit and 52.75% growth in top line in year-ended March 31, 2013, as compared to the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
While the company’s turnover was Rs 487.87 crore (Rs 319.39 crore), against a target of Rs 500 crore, its PAT stood at Rs 46.21 crore (Rs 32.04 crore), Vikram Somany, Chairman and Managing Director, said here.
The company has decided to pay 80% dividend this year as against 60% last year.
According to the audited results for FY 2012-13, the company has achieved operating margins (EBIDTA) of Rs. 84.32 crore, being 17.28% to sales for FY 2012-13 as compared Rs. 60.21 crore. being 18.85% to sales for FY 2011-12.
Cera Sanitaryware is the third largest company in the sector, having a 23% market share. Its plant in Kadi, Mehsana, has a capacity to make 27 lakh pieces per annum.
