Coal India Ltd today said that the company’s board of directors has approved the appointment of M. Viswanathan as Company Secretary.
“... The board of directors of the company... has approved the appointment of M. Viswanathan... as Company Secretary of Coal India Ltd with immediate effect,” the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The decision was take at a board meeting held on Wednesday, it said.
The board also gave its approval to appoint Mr Viswanathan as compliance officer of the public sector firm, the statement added.
