Coffee Day Hotels and Resorts Pvt Ltd (CDHR), a subsidiary of Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company Ltd and from the House of Coffee Day, is planning to open 10 resorts across India in the next five years, an official said on Wednesday.
CDHR, which currently has three luxury resorts under “The Serai” brand at Chikmagalur, Kabini and Bandipur in Karnataka, is all set to open its fourth at the Andamans Island in the next couple of months and the fifth at Mangalore in 2014, Anand Menon, Head, Marketing, told reporters here.
The three existing resorts have 73 rooms with occupancy of 72%, about 25-30% of which comprises the Gujarati tourists. The Andamans resort will have 20 rooms. To woo more tourists, The Serai is launching a six night package worth Rs 50,000 per person in the coming weeks, he said.
