Colgate Palmolive India Ltd reported a marginal decline in its net profit, at Rs 114.06 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, compared with Rs 114.39 crore for the same period last year.
Net sales of the company for the quarter increased by 12.6 per cent at Rs 581.7 crore (Rs 516.6 crore). It reported an earnings per share of Rs 8.39 for the quarter.
The company declared a third interim dividend of Rs 95.2 crore (Rs 7 a share) for the financial year 2010-2011.
The net profit for the year ended March 31 also declined by 4.8 per cent at Rs 402.58 crore (Rs 423.26 crore).
