Are you a start-up who want to showcase your great idea to the world? The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), the global network of entrepreneurs of Indian origin, brings you an opportunity to present your idea at Tel Aviv, the Israeli city, considered to be one of the top centres melting pots of start-up ideas in the world.

The Indian start-ups will be able to compete with their peers in different countries who will gather at Tel Aviv later this year.

TiE Hyderabad is partnering with the organisation’s Delhi chapter and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel to pick a few Indian start-ups for the Start Tel Aviv competition, which is scheduled to be held from September 14-19.

“As many as 13 start-ups from across the world will go for the five-day event. Some of them could be from India,” Murali Bukkapatnam, President of TiE (Hyderabad), told Business Line .

All that start-ups must do is to send their profile by July 7 and submit a 45-second (upper time limit) clip, explaining ‘Why should my start-up go to Tel Aviv?'' by July 15 to get a chance to win the paid trip to Tel Aviv.

“Participants will have the opportunity to get intense mentorship and an opportunity to pitch their ideas to venture capital firms,” he said.

Seed stage start-ups working in the area of Web, mobile, security can join the fray.
