Fertiliser major Coromandel International Ltd (CIL) today said it has fully acquired Liberty Urvarak by buying 14.89 per cent stake in the latter.
In a filing to the BSE, the company said that with this acquisition of shares, Liberty Urvarak Ltd (LUL) has become its wholly-owned subsidiary.
“The Company had on March 28, 2013 acquired 4,46,192 equity shares representing 14.89 per cent of the equity capital of LUL. With this Coromandel had acquired 100 per cent equity shares of LUL,” the company said.
The shares of the company rose by 2.65 per cent to settle at Rs 191.50 on the BSE.
