The Bombay High Court on Tuesday directed YES Bank to submit the video recording and documents related to its Annual General Meeting held on June 14.
The decision comes after Madhu Kapur’s counsel said they had not received some letters and documents related to the meeting.
YES Bank’s shareholders had approved all 12 resolutions that were put to vote in the AGM. The resolutions included the re-appointment of Rana Kapoor as Managing Director and CEO of the bank, along with the appointment of other directors.
Once the video recording and documents are received, Kapur’s counsel will file an amended petition, which is likely to challenge some of the resolutions passed at the bank’s AGM. The next hearing in the case is on June 27.
