Coimbatore-based pump manufacturer CRI Pumps Private Ltd has announced the launch of Friction Free Design Technology that ensures a host of benefits such as greater water discharge, lesser power consumption, and so on.
In a release, the company said that FF design parameters included computational fluid dynamics in the design of diffusers and impellers to help reduce hydraulic loss.
The pump parts were machined with high surface finishing for friction free performances and the thrust bearings and bush bearings were machined through high precision CNC machines for high accuracy and high surface finish which reduced friction and avoided restrictions on motor RPM.
The company said that all this would ensure more water discharge, less power consumption, minimal maintenance and trouble free performance.
