Domestic ratings agency Crisil today reported a marginal decline in its net profit at Rs 59.73 crore for the July-September quarter this year.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 60.18 crore for the same period last year.
Crisil’s consolidated total income for the quarter grew 28.79 per cent to Rs 270.98 crore against Rs 210.41 crore crore in the previous year, the company said in a statement.
“The operating environment in the domestic market, the US and Europe, the principal markets for Crisil, remained challenging during the quarter with muted economic growth, weak overall investment climate and continued pressure on the global investment banking industry,” it said.
