Dabur India has expanded its packaged food business by launching fruit juice-based drinking yoghurt under its Real Activ brand.
Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has been roped in to endorse the product. The company said its Real Activ Drinking Yoghurt range would be available in the mango and strawberry variants. It will be available in 200 ml and 1-litre packs priced at Rs 25 and Rs 105 respectively.
In a statement, Praveen Jaipuria, Category Head-Foods Dabur India said, “With the growing level of health awareness in India, there has been a spurt in demand for healthy functional foods. With the launch of Réal Activ Drinking Yoghurt, we aim to not only expand the Réal Activ brand but also give our consumers more choices to make their modern hectic lifestyle healthier.”
The company said it is a differentiated product and is a mix of fruit juices and yoghurt and comes in a drinkable form and said it would not require cold storage.
