Truck manufacturer Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has said its new range of buses set for launch next month will be available in Bharat Stage IV variant.
Daimler India has said that its entire range of 9-49 tonne trucks would be Bharat Stage IV compliant, and that the variant would also be available in the 9T bus range.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Daimler AG, sells trucks and buses under the BharatBenz brand.
The company has said apart from meeting the stringent emission regulations by reducing toxic gas levels within the proposed Bharat Stage IV norms, the trucks and buses would also provide better fuel economy.
