Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd, the cement subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Group, opened its Research & Development (R&D) centre in Chennai to support the company's manufacturing, marketing and innovation initiatives and deliver new solutions to create industry benchmarks.
The R&D team has published many research papers in international journals and collaborate with renowned national and international institutes, including IIT Delhi and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, for research, design and development of new products as well as value addition to existing products, says a company press release.
Mahendra Singhi, Group CEO, Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd, inaugurating the centre, said, "We believe in constantly innovating, developing quality products and improving service to achieve customer satisfaction; all with new benchmarks in quality, usability and sustainability. R&D is, naturally, the backbone of all our undertakings and is crucial for our long-term success. With this launch we aim to add to our IPR and set new benchmarks for the industry.”
