Deccan Cements Ltd’s standalone net profit decreased 40 per cent at Rs 9.96 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2016, compared to Rs 16.81 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The total income of the Hyderabad-based company decreased at Rs 141 crore as against Rs 147 crore, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was informed on Friday.
For the full year 2015-16, net profit more than doubled at Rs 45.56 crore compared to Rs 19.87 crore on a total revenue of Rs 579 crore (Rs 437 crore).
The earnings per share stood at Rs 65.05 (Rs 28.38).
Its scrip lost 6.61 per cent and was trading at Rs 714 on the BSE on Friday.
