Deccan Exploration Services Private Ltd’s mining lease file pertaining to Ganajur Main Gold Prospect is currently under the consideration of the Union Ministry of Mines.
Deccan Exploration Services Private Ltd is a subsidiary of Deccan Gold Mines.
In a release to the stock exchanges, Deccan Gold Mines said the Indian Bureau of Mines, Nagpur, has forwarded its report to the Ministry and is being actively pursued.
Further, the Karnataka Government has also forwarded the required information that was sought by the Ministry regarding the said prospect.
The company said during July 2011 the Ministry had sought certain information from the Indian Bureau of Mines and the Karnataka Government regarding the mining lease file of Deccan Exploration Services. The file had been pending with the Ministry awaiting clearance from the Indian Bureau of Mines and Karnataka Government, which has now been addressed.
