Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) and Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that would be operational for five years and would facilitate synergising the core competencies of both the PSUs.
The two companies would work together as preferred associates to address major defence programmes and invest in additional capacity and capability-building.
Prior to signing the MoU, the Missile Checkout Facility for the Akash Missile, designed and developed by ECIL, was handed over to BDL, a release from ECIL said.
