Led by the spurt in e-commerce led opportunities in the supply chain and logistics market, delivery firm GoJavas is strengthening its top leadership to be a market leader in the segment.

The Delhi-based company is currently on a hiring spree and has recently added three new verticals - Human Resources, Finance and Strategic Initiatives, to compete with leading players such as Ekart, Delhivery, Bluedart and Ecom Express.

The startup, which was earlier a part of fashion portal Jabong, now runs as independent company and has hired former Walmart and Metro Cash&Carry senior official and Aniruddha Mahajan as Head of Human Resources, Vikas Jain as Head of Finance and Shravni Jain to lead the strategic initiatives at GoJavas.

Prior to these new hires, the company had got on board Sobhit Jain as General manager - Operations.

Vijay Ghadge, acting CEO, GoJavas, said, “Our current revenue rate is Rs 500 crore per annum, we are all set to achieve a 4X growth in revenue run-rate second year in a row. We are strengthening our leadership team to manage this exponential growth and future expansion plans and these inclusions are in line with the objective.”

GoJavas, in which online marketplace major Snapdeal picked up minority stake early this year, is looking at further strengthening its delivery operations in the country. Snapdeal has pumped in Rs 200 crore in the startup. GoJavas, however, provides logistics services to most of the e-commerce players, except Flipkart.
