The world’s leading liquor maker Diageo plans to hire around 1,000 people for its new Business Services Centre in Bengaluru which was launched on Monday.
The centre will initially build a global (Diageo) finance and accounting footprint and plans to move into other areas such as business intelligence, analytics and data services. The centre is expected to employ around 1,000 people by the end of 2017.
“The essence of our culture rests on two fundamental pillars,” commented Tracey Barnes, Managing Director, DBSI. “These are ‘how we work’ – in an open, exciting and dynamic culture, where our employees care about doing the right things, the right way and know they can make a difference and second, ‘what we offer’ - opportunities to grow in an environment where the best of Diageo globally meets the best of India.”
The centre has already hired 100 employees.
