Vadodara-headquartered Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL), an integrated player in the power equipment and EPC segment, on Thursday reported an increase of 21 per cent in net profit and 30 per cent in sales in the second quarter of 2010-11, ended September 30, compared with the corresponding period in the last fiscal year.
While its sales were Rs 456.12 crore (Rs 350.07 crore), the net profit stood at Rs 33.45 crore (Rs 27.76 crore), the company said in a statement here.
The order book position, as on September 30, was worth Rs 1,722.52 crore, the company added.
On Wednesday, DPIL’s share price on the BSE closed 1.84 per cent down at Rs 106.65.
