Diamond Power wins Rs 48 cr order

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL), an integrated player in the power equipment and EPC segment, on Friday said that it has received orders aggregating Rs. 48.3 crore for supply of 108 power transformers to diverse customers.

Mr Amit Bhatnagar, Managing Director of Diamond Power Infrastructure said DPIL has augmented its capacities and capability to offer a range of power transformers up to 315 MVA and 220 KV.

DPIL had commissioned the EHV cables plant in June 2011, set up with an investment of Rs. 85 crore and technical support from Malliefer, France. The plant has a capacity to produce EHV Cables up to 500 kV, making Diamond Power among the only seven manufacturers in the world to have such range.
