DigiVive bags mobile rights for cricket tri-series

Value added services company DigiVive has bagged mobile rights for India-West Indies-Sri Lanka Tri Series. The company bought the rights from Taj TV.

The company said along with cricket match broadcast, users will also get access to video-on-demand (VoD) on DigiVive’s mobile TV service, nexGTv till August. It claimed nexGTv had about 14 million users who watch about 40,000 downloads on an average.

In a statement, G.D Singh, Director, DigiVive, said, “After India’s thrilling win at the ICC Championship Trophy 2013, we are excited to offer the Tri Series matches on nexGTv. We bring the kind of content that consumers want to see…. Going by our user feedback, we incorporated a special VoD section for sports events as our users.”

nexGTv offers features like replay TV, adaptive streaming, best-in-class user interface and 24x7 customer-care support and also offers channels ranging from national to regional in the category of entertainment, movies, news, among others.
